Vasco Ask proclaimed Jumper Champion 11-03-2023 - 15:56

At the Stallion Licensing for the 4-year-old jumper stallions, Vasco Ask took home all the prizes and a silver medal as well.

This year, six 4-year-old jumper stallions were presented for final licensing at the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show in Herning, and as a new initiative, the decision was made already Thursday afternoon.
The six stallions have all been approved for breeding at the Stallion Show in 2022 and has then participated in the DWB performance test in the Fall of 2022. Out of the six stallions, five scored 800 point or more at the performance test, and these five were therefore up for their final licensing today.

Vasco Ask won it all

Already at last year’s Stallion Show, Vasco Ask by Verdi / Clarimo (bred and owned by Stutteri Ask), looked very promising, and was proclaimed premium stallion. Since then, the stallion has continued the positive development.
In the Fall, the stallion won the performance test with impressive 882.5 points, and today, Vasco Ask received his final licensing in Danish Warmblood. He was also proclaimed Champion Stallion and awarded the Elvin Rasmussen Award, which each year is given to best Danish bred 4-year-old jumper stallion.
And as if this was not enough, Vasco Ask was also awarded with a breeder’s medal in Silver.

Three Bronze Medals

Another four stallion received their final licensing:

Airborn Lox DWB by Action Man Ask Z / Ci Ci Senjor (owner: Perto Anlæg ApS, breeder: Stutteri Lox), A’int He Special S DWB by Action Man Ask Z / Cassino I (breeder: Sally-Ann & Flemming Schultz, owner: Helgstrand Dressage ApS), Oreo Brownie H by Diarado / London (breeder: Holland, owner: Katrinelund) and finally Unik V by Syvhøjgårds Unforgetable S DWB / Cavall Ask (breeder and owner: Ole Christensen).

Being Danish bred, the stallions Airborn Lox, A’int He Special and Unik V was also awarded with a breeder’s medal in Bronze.

Dolympic Z by Dominator / Cassini I (breeder and owner: Lars Kramer) did not achieve 800 points at the performance test, and was therefore given a 2-year breeding approval and the chance to continue in the test system for DWB stallions.
